Light weight surface plates in Impala granite. Because of a structured construction, in which several plates out of granite are glued together, it is possible – in comparison with solid plates – to gain a weight reduction of 40 to 60%. Another essential advantage can be a faster adaptation in temperature, especially in an environment with great thermal differences.
